8. I do not think Amy was arguing a bartender cannot do anything.

Instead, she was arguing that instead of labeling her as a scholar, they label her as a bartender, which no matter how skilled, it does lot devote a highly educated person. It illustrated how they frame things and how misogynistic they are, using a lesser label. She is a bartender, not an educated representative. What can she know about government? Well, she is well educated on the economy, so maybe give her some credit!
