Thanks for posting that link. Some of the European settlers in Florida were known as crackers. That term then got extended to refer to southern white people in general.

I have a rose bush in my yard that is known as "the cracker rose" because it thrives in the south.

There's also the term cracker for the tip of a whip, which brings up a lot of dark inferences.

And there's the old timey reference to cracker barrels.

It's possible the old CB logo was playing with a number of those references. Who knows.

What's interesting to me is that MAGAT decided to have a meltdown about a company changing their logo.
