(44,158 posts)...who was working with Rudy Giuliani on his push to get dirt on Biden. He's since been charged with being a Russian agent, not surprisingly.

There was also Yuriy Lutsenko, the Ukrainian prosecutor general who succeeded Viktor Shokin, a former prosecutor who was heavily corrupt (and who Trumpists have falsely accused Biden of forcing the Ukrainians to fire supposedly to protect his son).
Lutsenko was an interesting case. He was actually considered one of the heroes of Maidan, being severely beaten by Yanukovych's goons.
He initially indicated to Rudy and company a willingness to investigate Biden, but later reneged, saying he didn't actually have any information on him.
But unlike Dubinsky, there doesn't appear to have been any evidence Lutsenko was working with the Russians, and his actions may have simply been the result of personal political ambition.
