I'm not taking a position on this "investigation" because I have only followed the first two installments. But what you're saying is exactly right in terms of highlighting the discrepancy between what the author actually says and what he attempts to imply.

1. "personally involved" means what? "involved in" is one of the most elusive phrases in the English language. I was personally involved in the campaign of Kamala Harris... by donating to her campaign! I was personally involved in advising Kamala Harris.... in an email she never saw. (You can find self-delusory tricks like this everywhere online).
2. "NSA-Authorized" means what? (especially this one)
3. What does "authorized" even mean in this context? It could be a person who putatively works for the NSA (or even ex-NSA) told the author on a phone call that he liked the idea of auditing the 2024 election.

It's kind of fun to examine text in this way, but often leads to disappointment.
