The billionaire psychosis. [View all]
Why is it that almost every single billionaire (and most multi-millionaires) desires ultimate power and control? They lose their lust for life (if they ever really had any). They lose their humanity (if they ever had any). It seems as if they love nothing... but, more money. Why? They don't know want or hunger or worry about bills. So, what could they be so distressed about? They live in a country that affords them the opportunity to acquire great personal wealth. What are they so fucking afraid of?
To me, it is simple. They don't build and create anymore and that makes them afraid. They don't know how to build and create. Thomas Edison was an asshole but, he helped bring electricity to the masses (yes, I know about Nikola Tesla and how great he was and how great it may have been if he was given more deference). Henry Ford, the consummate racist and Nazi sympathizer developed the mass production assembly system that made automobiles available and affordable to almost everyone back in the day.
What I'm getting at is that those type of assholes have always been around. Except, back in the day, they actually built and created new and better things. They are known as 'the industrialists.' We don't have them anymore. Today, the super-rich only care and only work for how much money can they acquire now. Today. This minute. They don't give two runny shits about building and creating anything. That's why they buy politicians and judges (thanks, Citizens United). They have no excitement in buying anything else. They can afford everything they personally want.
But, why does this happen? Why wouldn't someone that has that much wealth just simply... relax and enjoy? Why wouldn't they want to build something completely new? I've never seen or heard Mark Cuban ranting and raving about how tough life is for him. He seems to be an outlier. Most of them seem to have shit-loads of Remoras and other hangers on constantly whispering in their ears about how horrific it will be if they don't shit on millions of people immediately. Jeff Bezos somehow always comes to mind when I think about this. He loves to tell his story about how he started and built Amazon all by himself. It's a load of bullshit but, I digress.
Why are all these so-called movers and shakers held in such great reverence and awe when they actually build and create nothing? What they've actually become is the destroyer of worlds. And we witness this every single waking hour.
Billionosis... billionitis... hypermoneyitis... powermongerosis... billionaireshitstainis... whatever you wanna call it, we definitely need a vaccine. Just don't tell RFK, Jr. about it.
