Teachers can't afford to live there, the veterinarian retired and there is nowhere for a replacement to live, and the people who rent out the houses simply don't care. And there is little appetite to regulate it.
I bet and beg my friends not to stay in Airbnb, but it falls on deaf ears. It's convenient for them, which I guess is more important than whether a teacher or firefighter can afford to live in the place where they work.
And forget about finding a place for a family. All the new housing I see being built anywhere is small, dense apartments.

You're welcome. He did lots of search and rescue helicopter rides but he made it home, thankfully.
