"Secrets"? So far all Assange has done is air dirty laundry. Yet people want him in prison. The government says it's because he's not a journalist. Well, neither are they.

Our own government leaked the identity of an undercover CIA agent, in order to perpetrate a fraud on the entire world. A fraud that cost hundreds of thousands of lives. One loser threw himself on his sword(well, he got his weenie slapped anyway) and the rest walked away like nothing ever happened.

Oh and before you get your panties all in a bunch I am not blaming Obama for the Valerie Plame incident. Plenty of Democratic and Republican leaders who are still in office were happy to let that go, goddamn Republicans fought any investigation tooth and nail . Now they are all pissed off. Hypocrites.

I figure the CIA is like any other group of people, although with the secrecy, with a higher degree of sociopaths and power hungry types, but also with many that are just trying to do what they think is best.
