There isn't a Middle class anymore, it's Us and Them, plain and simple |
|
the 'have more than they could ever spend' against those of us who wish we had it to spend. Anything actually.

5. Except that serfs were cared for because they were the workers of |
|
the estates. And the cannon fodder when needed. Most of their "owners" at least recognized the they had value.

One winner raking in all the rent money while everyone else's properties are mortgaged to the hilt... Time for a New Deal!

7. What really gets me is when they say it's the Dems that are for class warfare. |
|
Because we don't support taxcuts for the rich...(well maybe some do).
Another fine example of the Democrats not being able to control the message. And they wonder why Bernie is our new hero?

8. I wonder how powerful Fox really is.. |
|
Edited on Sun Dec-12-10 01:26 PM by AsahinaKimi
Could they bring down this Nation by simply creating falsehoods powerful enough to incite riots and terrorist acts against the present administration? Could they milk their viewers out of billions of dollars to support a false cause? Could they help bring about a Theocratic dictatorship to a Nation that once had the highest ideals about Freedom?
On some level, this corporation really scares me.

9. The flip side to this is, why don't most Americans listen to liberals? |
|
I'm too new here to start threads, but if I could start a discussion on this topic I would.

11. People who are still holding on to an illusion of middle class status are in for a rude awakening |
|
We see Democrats like this all the time. Things are still pretty much the same for them, maybe a little tighter, and they don't know why the rest of us aren't happy as larks about the 'better than nothing' help we're getting from President Obama's economic policies. Joining with us now and fighting for progressive economic policy would be smart. A middle class lifestyle is gone in a flash with just a few set backs.
I've been seeing those at the lower end of wealthy taken down to nothing in a matter of months here in Nevada. I'm talking families who were well heeled and financially solvent for 20+ years losing it all.
You are right. There is no middle class. There are a few that can still claim that status for a little while but it's really all over but the crying.

17. There was never a "middle class", it's only ever been the Capitalists vs. the Workers. |
|
The notion of a "middle class" is a deceptive narrative created to divide and conquer the workers.

When the Working Class & The Poor realize we have more in common with each other than we have in common with the Ruling Class leaders of BOTH Political Parties, then WE can "change" the system.
The Working Class & The Poor in Latin America have given us the Blueprint for a near bloodless revolution.
