What about next year?
Obama will never get the message but we have. I've called and written to all the Congressmen I can. I don't get a sense one way or another.
Personally, I hope Obama gets a primary challenger -- Howard Dean, Russ Feingold, even Alan Grayson. At this point, can't see my self voting for Obama again. If no choice, I might skip that section.

I think it will pass, although it's far from sure. The "yes" side is, "Otherwise the GOP passes it on its own immediately after the new members are sworn in, and Obama pretty much HAS to accept it then (because he promoted it aggressively THIS month)."
