4. My sorry assed Senators won't give an indication of where they stand on this --

Cantwell's office offers the automatic "she voted to extend tax breaks for the middle class only" - and when you say "I understand that, but where does she stand on Obama's deal with the Republicans? Gee, she hasn't issued a statement yet.

Haven't been able to get through to Murray's office, but I'm concerned (as I've posted here) that she'll feel she 'owes' Obama for all the effort he and Biden put into visiting Washington State to help her win reelection.

My sorry-assed Senators probably helped craft that dirty deal. Maybe I'll call someone else's Senators.:shrug: I've never been crazy about Mary Landrieu, but I suppose I should encourage her when she does something right.

I have no illusions and suspect she did this for some ulterior motive, but she did the right thing on the surface, and I'll take it.
