Fairness Doctrine and allowing the corporate takeover of the media. Dumb everything down to the base idea that the government is your enemy.

When you convince the "non-informed" patriotic voter of that - they will, incredibly, vote against their own economic interests. Throw in "Dimocrats" who are afraid to call themselves what they are - Republicans and, instead, threw a monkey wrench into the Democratic party by devising the right wing DLC - eventually causing chaos. Give us a minority person who is a DLC'r and a great orator and everyone swoons to his marvelous words and the result is disaster.

Now the great Democratic party is brought to its knees. Its all coming apart.

if that so many people think this was NOT done according to plan. The only reason I feel hope?

I teach in a trade school for adults and EVERYONE I talk to in the school, teachers and students, are fed up to the teeth with this bullcrap. I'm beginning to think the "silent majority" is going to get up and make some noise, and real soon.
