It is one thing that they met-- no problem. I think even if Clinton had released a supportive statement a bit later, it would have been ok. Now, it is as though Obama had to call in the cavalry (or his Dad) to help him out.
I fear a major backlash from this.

Who the hell is advising Obama these days?! These are not the decisions or actions of the guy who campaigned so brilliantly in 2008.
The guy WALKS off the stage at a press conference defending HIS decisions. That doesn't look good.
Especially compared to Bernie Sanders, Obama is clearly losing the image and message battles. Ugh.

there is a saying in the military, applies to any miltary. It does not matter how many stars you have on your shoulders, if you go FOLLOW ME MEN! in a charge, and they stand behind cover... you deserve to die.
Well he issued the FOLLOW ME MEN!, they turned and mooned him.
You have as much power as others are willing to give you. This is a crisis of government and command. It is also a crisis since a MINORITY is able to keep the country hostage. Bid dawg is right on this... the best deal the dems could get... the Rs are holding the country hostage. Why we have a crisis in DC.
