How many of those castigating PRESIDENT Obama for "cutting the deal" that would ensure U/C for millions, maintain the current tax rate for the middle and working classes, and provides a couple of other things, or are celebrating Bernie Sanders' filibuster of the bill, will come back here and say: "Oops, I was wrong ... My bad!", should the Republicans not fold?
Or worst, (should the Republicans not fold) come back here and blame PRESIDENT Obama when America blames the Democrats when their U/C stops and taxes, for the rest, go back up?
Face it folks ... America will blame Democrats if their U/C stops and taxes, for the rest go, back up. They won't give a moments consideration to the republicans' obstinance because all they will "know" is "My U/C ended/My taxes went up because you Democrats would do the deal."
And really ... Let's be real here: how many middle and/or working class folks really give a shit about what the rich are getting?

1. I am afraid you're right. |

I don't think the 'pubs will fold. We, the Democrats, don't seem to have the spin the 'pubs have, so we wind up losing twice.

2. I never expected the Republicons to fold. But sometimes you win by fighting a losing battle. |
|
I don't expect the Republicons to keep this "deal" in the next Congress, either. Will you come groveling back here and say: "Oops, I was wrong ... My bad!," when they tank the whole fucking thing??

3. I was so confused, and now you've cleared it up. |

So I should vote for Democrats no matter what they do because Republicans are really, really awful?
What a great way to run a country.
