The Clintons bite the Dem party; anyone surprised? |

I'm watching Charlie Rose, there isn't anything going to be surprising, and they think the Clintons suck. WHY?
Convince me they don't.

 I found that funny.
On a serious note, I think I know what sites you all are talking about and I realize like the other poster stated that they're too much of a problem to ignore. However, I do put them on ignore because of the hate. I can not tolerate the hate. Underlying racism, sexism (against Obama), attacks on Michelle; it's just way too much for me. I can't stomach it so I don't pay them any mind.
One of the sites was Larry Sinclair's, I went there twice and couldn't handle it. The freepers once and I was done then the HRC one---had enough within a few seconds and left.

They are married, but not Siamese twins sharing a brain. Hillary has always been left of Bill.
I think we all know that Bill is throwing a temper tantrum. But he can. He has NOTHING TO LOSE.
Hillary is not going to destroy her Senatorial relationships with her fellow party members to support Bill's grudge. She's not that dumb. So, she's stumping up and down the country for Obama.
If Hillary was someone else, say Barbara Boxer, and had gotten 18 million votes, and needed to placate her public at the convention because many of them thought she was the better, more experienced candidate, etc., we would not be calling this "the Boxer show".
Hillary has never, ever been able to control her husband. I thought that was obvious 8-10 years ago. Why do you suddenly expect her to be able to do so now.
Please take more of a wait and see attitude.

24. Babylonsister, the negative play by play on the Clintons isn't worth our focus. |
|
Clearly, the Republicans are working the media to feed this story. And yes, some Clinton folks are acting out.
We can either take the bait or ignore it.
The one thing I do know is that the American people will judge all of the players by how they act thru the rest of the primary.
It doesn't serve the Clintons to be perceived as petty or vindictive.
They will give great speeches. Some of their people will continue to act out.
But the election isn't about them and won't be swayed by who is on the sidelines.
Obama/Biden vs. McCain & the Republicans. That should be our focus. The Clinton stuff will take care of itself.

It just keeps coming forth as new, fresh, as virginal as an alluvial moon pool of the unbridled un-sated an aggressive peculiarity it bubbles up between the pads of cloistered ostrich gaggling the silicon of shiftless sand dunes only each to the other they truly care to speak and so they do so alone as to which houses matter which cable cars are worthy their queenly crown' & coins of creation mystery they ignore the rest as unworthy by features derived from ill committees sanctioning even stranger birds still, lifeless; where at the end of the day...not so stunning in the least but predictable as the waste of flightless carrion.
Good luck with this tack people. It's been all up and down the board so you just know it has to be popular. And that's what really counts ;)

You either embrace the illogical rantings of Clinton haters, or using your own judgment, and a little logic, you arrive at your own conclusion. Obama is %100 sure Clinton is on his side, and has publicly stated this. Too bad so many of his "supporters" believe he is either lying, or not smart enough to recognize when he is being taken for a fool. Funny, as a Clinton supporter who will vote for Obama, it is a little wierd that I show more confidence in him than his more "avid" supporters. Go figure. Thanks. quickesst

they have now bled over and become the catch-all excuse for the derisive, dismissive, highly exclusionary few on the left as regards a contest that is at this point in time too close to call. The current level of non-confidence in Obama you refer to is for me an indicator that they were prepared to blame, as has been promised for months, the waitress for a half baked potato the cook should have seen to all along. Yes, I find such behavior childish. But more to the point I find it irresponsible, shortsighted; and so unable to anticipate the future in full.

|
Ask yourself - WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK WHAT THE CLINTONS THINK OR EVEN WORSE WHAT RANDOM DELEGATES, PUMAS, REPUBLICANS WHO CROSSED PARTY LINE AT OPEN-PRIMARY ELECTIONS, AND MSM RIGHT-WING SCREEDS think.
That's where this message is coming from - not the Clintons, from idiots who know that to get John McCain elected we must keep our party divided.
Hillary has been nothing but supportive of Obama. Sure he gave her a few concessions but I like the fact that we will show her some respect at the nominating party until the vote is closed out as unanimous. I think the whole thing shows me that we are a party once divided now coming together.
But ultimately this is about getting Barack Obama elected and this is whom we should focus on. But we'd rather put all our time & effort into dissecting the Clintons.
Really, why would we aid & abet republicans?

I don't give a rat's tail end what you, or anybody else for that matter, think of the Clintons.
Some of you hate the Clintons with a passion, who cares? Keep fanning the flames of division and it won't bode very well for the party as a whole.

|
that we are going to lose the election. The media is fanning the flames of this anti-Clinton crap and the Democratic Party is falling for it. I can't believe how many DU'ers are still thrashing about in regards to the Clinton's this long after the primaries are over. The race is really close right now because we are still fighting each other rather than fighting against McCain. This is the pattern of the Democrats and that is why we lose more than we win. Hillary Clinton has done everything that was asked of her after the primaries were over and that is good enough for me. Rush Limbaugh would be so happy with this division. It is exactly what the Repukes wanted.

63. I'm going to let the Clintons speak... |
|
Before I judge their performances.
The media is clearly doing nothing but speculating and trying to create drama where there, hopefully, is none.

64. I won't waste time trying to "convince" you when your mind is closed. But it's foolish to keep |
|
attacking the Clintons when we need party unity.
Obama has told his supporters more than once to be nice to Hillary Clinton and her supporters.
He's praised her, again and again.
He needs her help to win this fall.
You do NOT unite the party with relentless, vicious attacks by your supporters on your strongest rival in the party and HER supporters.
You especially hurt unity if that rival is already supporting you and the attacks on her continue.

|
.....after November 4 you will never hear from the Clintons or their whining supporters again.

66. Hey Babylonsister....I'm not a fan of the Clintons but at this point.... |
|
I'm tired of listening about them. Come this time Thursday they won't be a worry at all. I hope we can take this election where it should have gone a fortnight ago and that was to focusing on McCain and Obama kicking his arse come election time.
I find focusing on the Clintons moves us away from our target points. I understand of their past role and the role they still have yet to complete in the DNC, but we really can't think on them and especially the negativity they seem to arise. I say we focus on something else. This is a bit too divisive for me.

69. Yes, too much focus on the Clintons, positive or negative, is unhealthy. The |
|
Dem candidate is Obama. His opponent is McCain. Those two are the focus.

71. What do you hope to accomplish with another negative Clinton thread? |
|
Senator Obama and Senator Clinton are working together to get Senator Obama elected as President this fall. Can you let go of your hatred long enough to see that we all need to follow their example? You are doing yourself and our nominee no good at all by fanning the flames of division.

And I'm not fanning the flames, I'm discussing the flames-they are everywhere.

79. This is like the work of Rove |
|
OUR nominee needs and seeks unity. Our Party is working hard toward that unity. You are working counter to our objectives as a Party. What is the objective of such posts as this? What does the OP wish to see happen as a result of the post? Is that result the same result OUR nominee is seeking this week? I think not. Every post needs to be read for intent and objective. Many claim to support this or that, but the claim is not the key, the objective is the key. What could be gained for our Party from a post like this? An attack on tonight's speaker, one who was praised by Michelle Obama last night? And just to put your suspicious mids to rest, I voted for Obama in the Primary, donated to him and the works. I've seen support of Obama, and sister, this is not it.
