Jeb Jr. and George P Bush raising money for Marco Rubio |
|
Jeb Jr. and George P. Bush will headline a mid-December primary for Marco Rubio. No word if the old man will be there, but its certainly safe to assume the ex-governor's kids wouldn't be doing this without his blessing. http://blogs.tampabay.com/buzz/2009/11/jeb-jr-and-george-p-bush-raising-money-for-marco-rubio.html

1. Now THAT is newsworthy. |

I had it in my head that old Jeb was laying low, biding his time and waiting the GOP to settle down and (hopefully as far as he was concerned) the President to screw up so he could come out as some kind of "the good old days were better than you remember" GOP moderate Presidential candidate. He's the ONLY one I'm really worried about for 2012.
VERY interesting.

4. I think JEBtm is much more likely in 2016, but point well-taken |

9. Yeah, I think he's in "lay and wait" mode..... |
|
.... and it will depend on the political climate at the time. But I'll take any reassurance that he's NOT running in 2012 that I can get. ;)

indicates it will be easier for us to defeat Rubio than Crist. I hope the primary is hotly contested, close, and features alot of negative ads going both ways. Charley has the bucks for a massive air war and the Bushes should be pretty good a filling Marco's war chest. I hope it gets nasty in the many ways Republicans are famous for.
Better yet, may they have a long and nasty campaign where Charley "wins" by dozens to a few hundred votes, accompanied by a mandatory recount and alegations of absentee ballot fraud. Pass the popcorn please.

   I'm betting on nothing but chaos. BTW where is Katherine Harris? She can help the Bushies candidate. The thugs can come in to try and stop the vote counting on Crist.
