To my thinking it is a huge Trojan horse. Exclusion of the language become a rallying point for the RW and gets the fundraising they need to launch an "I told you so campaign" that ill scare the bejesus out of the moderate to conservative Dems.
Yet including the language would seem to be a slap in the face of women and progressives and buy us little with the anyone on the right.
Scuttling the bill is not at all desirable but is there a 4th way I am not seeing?
