Health insurance plans of public employees can cover abortion services |
|
Many local and state employees jobs are in part federally funded. Mine on the city and state level were.
And if you have a Health Savings Account, the contributions become a tax break on total income. Women can use that HSA to pay for an abortion. So, abortion is subsidized with federal money.
Stupak or no Stupak, federal funds spread around as they are have and will continue to "pay for abortions".

1. How about the fact that if people buy into the public insurance |
|
paying the full premiums either 100% or in conjunction with their employer?
I wouldn't consider it to be taxpayer funded in that situation. So why should there be restrictions?

2. I'd like to know where Stupak has been since he got into the Congress in the early 1990s |
|
He hasn't been too serious about federal funds going for abortions received by employees.
This current move to hold health care reform hostage makes him vile.
