2010 will be the era of the "bored" rich running for office. We already have the ex ceo's of several |
|
dot com companies announced for statewide offices. These campaigns will be mostly self financed, controlled by the candidate, low or little party affinity, a lose connection of people who in their previous life held the government high contempt, and never read the constitution or hardly ever voted.
These candidates will have spent a life time practicing the "art of bs". These will be the shameless and the bullies. They will be your best bud or your worst enemy. They will gladly be your "alter ego", pushy and obnoxious.
Sorry to say, the stupid electorate will suck it up big time, they do everyday.

1. We now have an ex-Tribune CEO running for IL governor. |
|
Long time GOP operative, too, but he's running like an independent, making fun of Blago (D) and all the (R) governors before him.

2. If more of them were/are like Alan Grayson (who actually was a rich CEO type), it wouldn't be so bad |
