I was listening to MSNBC report on the Fort Hood shootings, and the person they were interviewing (didn't catch his name) was asked if there is anything special about today. The interviewee said no.
Please note that today makes one year ago exactly that we elected Barack Obama.
I don't know if this makes it a "special day" from the standpoint of the shootings, but certainly, November 5th of 2009 is a special day in the sense that it is the anniversary of something, not of nothing.

Wasn't the election Nov. 4, 2008?
ON EDIT: It was Nov. 4. I beeped my car horn last Nov. 4 because Obama won the election. I beeped my car horn this Nov. 4 because the New York Yankees won the World Series. :)

Beeped car horn on Nov. 4, 2008...Obama won election. Beeped car horn on Nov. 4, 2009...Yankees win World Series
It's odd that it happened that way!

4. We can't ignore any possibility |

This sounds like it could be PTSD related, since the base works with sufferers of it, but this would probably be the first time in medical history where several people with PTSD coordinated to do an attack.

getting together to do this is unbelievable. It would change the way we look at PTSD forever. I guess we just have to wait and see.

14. I have no idea and that is why I will simply wait for the facts to come out. |

Speculation is useless and most of it is wrong although given the width and spectrum of the speculation someone is bound to be right. But then everyone else is wrong.
I'll wait.

We have no idea what is going on. I have heard the media speculate from PTSD to the last name of the Major who went on the rampage. We have no idea what is going on. Remember the DC snipers was a middle age white man, in a white van. We know this because the media told us.

20. Absolutely true. But hey, let's put the "hatred of Obama" meme out there just in case... right? |
|
Why would that be the FIRST of three possibilities that you list?
Just wanna get it out there? Hope to prove some kind of point?
