The crazies are coming for you Charlie and they are carrying torches and teabags and wow are they angry. You can stay and slug it out with Mario. and you might win the Primary... but there is no guarantee and the RSCC just pulled the plug on the money machine.

Rumor has it that you have national ambitions. that's fine, But winning a bruising primary fight with Mario is not going to burnish your standing in the GOP, either with its base or with the money machinery. So at the end of the Day you have to ask is it worth the effort,

Now I know there are some in the Democrat Party who don't trust Moderates, But trust me..... at the end of the day, they are more interested in destroying the GOP than they are in ideological purity.

These guys will deal with Kendrick Meek. You would have a wide open shot at a Dem Senate nomination and we will have more than enough cash to finance your November 2010 tilt with Mario.

Oh one last thing....If Joe Lieberman calls... hang up. The only thing lest trusted/ more endangered in today's political environment than a moderate republican is an "independent" Democrat.
