Except when Bush the scummy idiot scared us all in 2002 after 9/11. I fail to get why some here don't get that and are hyperventilating over losses even in local elections in their towns. I think we lose around 20 in the House at the most, not enough to flip Congress. The Senate will be close too but I think it stays Dem.
