O'Donnell: Won't drop out for Castle

Christine O’Donnell plans to stay in the race for the U.S. Senate, even though that means a Republican Party primary with U.S. Rep. Mike Castle.

O’Donnell, who ran for the Senate in 2006 and 2008, announced earlier this year that she would try again in 2012.

And she said Castle’s decision to run isn't going to push her out of the race.

“When I launched my write-in campaign years ago it was because I was concerned about the direction Washington was taking our country and nothing has changed, in fact it’s gotten worse,” O’Donnell said.

She said she would be just another ineffective politician if she ducked out of the race because someone else got in.

“I’m willing to stay in the fight no matter how hard it gets,” she said.

She’s also not worried about the money.
