The only elections with national implications were decided in favor of the Democrats, but, try getting corporate media to report that news in any way that reflects the reality. Impossible. They are too busy trying to keep the Republican party propped up by spinning only races won by the GOP. Point being that wins can be spun any way corpmedia chooses, and they chose to not spin Dem wins in any way that boosts the image of the Dem party nationally, though their wins had national implications that the two governor races won by Republicans did not.

I think Congressional races are just as important as governorships.
I think it was a split result last night. But apparently the "liberal media" are bored with Demo dominance, and are creating a new narrative just cuz they can.
Now for sure, Corzine losing was a blow and a disappointment. But so was NY-23 going Dem for the first time in 100 years.

The media is spinning NY 23 as no big deal and I haven't even heard the CA seat mentioned on MSM. All the focus is on the Democratic losses in NJ and VA because it fits in with their 'gloom and doom for Obama' agenda.

Kane, trying to tell that idiot girl on C$N that those races were not nearly as important - all politics being local in those races.
He told her that Press. Obama's ratings did not play into those races and she was so proud to tell him that the CNN Poll said that Obama was really slipping in the polls.
Even on the VIEW, the airhead admitted that the NY races did not reflect on this Administration.
For some reason, I think she is real sorry that she is a Rethug now --she is trying to " step away" lately, IMO.

and it has nothing to do with being bored.
Remember media's choices in 2004. Kerry OBVIOUSLY won all three debates decisively, and corpmedia would NOT use the word sweep and barely acknowledged Kerry campaign's use of 'sweep' when, immediately after the third debate, they took the stage in front of a huge crowd waving brooms to further emphasize the scope of their wins.
