My goodness, does it bring back great memories.
They are at the first major "turning point" of Election 2008 now -- the Iowa JJ dinner when Barack lights the place on fire! :woohoo:

13. Yes, it makes everything seem all the more incredible. It shows how much work goes into a campaign |
|
like this -- I love seeing the spirit of the Obama volunteers. And it is interesting to listen to the media coverage from '08 -- Clinton was considered the winner without question and Obama was entirely discounted. Amazing how things change!

15. "...jacked up expectations"... |
|
That's exactly what has happened and the media has plenty of fodder to say that President Obama has "underperformed." Axelrod had it right.

Worked OT today and couldn't help it, dammit - pissed! But I'll watch the beginning later. What I did see was great - had me in tears for the last hour. Loved it!
I don't think the prez is perfect. I disagree with some of his policies - or, more accurately, the way he approaches them. He's slow-moving on issues that are important to many... but he is classy, and genuine, and, simply, a good man. I feel the way Michael Moore does. And he has my complete support.
