Deeds Lost VA County by 20 points, while Obama won it in 2008 by 4 points |

Obama won King and Queen County in 2008 with 52% of the vote. In 2009, Deeds lost 59-41. There are that many votes in this county, but I think we are headed to a blowout here folks.

2. Deeds is the worst candidate in recent memory. Only Roland Burris could do worse. nt |

3. I spot checked a bunch of counties. Deeds is running about 7-15 points lower than Obama |
|
and of course the swing in margin is even worse than that.

4. Yea, King and Queen was the only one I saw that was completely in. |
|
But in Amherst for example, Obama lost by 16 points, Deeds is down by 36

Everyone knew this was coming.I am surprised they didn't immedetly call it for Mcdonnell.Deeds ran a terrable campagin.Exit polls are showing Obama Is not a factor and over 50 percent of voters approve of his job.Since the 70's the opposition party wins the Governorsip in Virginia.
Things will be different In 2012 when Obama runs for reelection and Jim Webb Is running for a second senate term. However I feel bad for those In Virginia who will have to live under the rule of Taliban Mcdonnell.

13. We knew this was coming. |

Our NoVA peeps will need to stick together through the madness of the next few years :grouphug:
Is it true Deeds has lost to McDonnell *twice* now? I wasn't in VA when it happened the first time! That's amazing.

8. Deeds getting ripped 2-1 so far. |
|
Likely to be a >20 point loss if this keeps up. We will have to get our people fired up for '10 as they were in '08. Laugh at the tea party idiots all you want, but their vote counts just as much as anyone else. If they continue to get whipped up into a frenzy, it could be a long night one year from now.

12. Where I vote in the City of Richmond, Deeds didn't have one sign up. |
|
I didn't even see anyone from his campaign there (I voted during my lunch hour).
