Obama Approval One Year Later |
|
http://politicalwire.com/archives/2009/11/03/obama_approval_one_year_later.htmlObama Approval One Year Later A year after he won the presidential election, 54% of Americans approve of the job President Obama is doing, according to a new CNN/Opinion Research survey.
Said pollster Keating Holland: "Obama's approval rating of 54 percent is nearly identical to the 53 percent of the vote he won a year ago. And in nearly every demographic category, the percent that approve of Obama today is within two to three points of the percent who voted for him in 2008."

Thank God that the majority of Americans aren't as narrow minded as those of you who never stood behind anything Obama. Those Americans who know that 8 years of fuck ups is not fixed in 10 months. Americans who listened to Obama when he said it's a long road ahead and it might not be done in his first year or even his first term. You know, those Americans who aren't whining about their fucking ponies.
The haters of all things Obama prove daily that A. They never really listened to him or B. They listened but it doesn't really matter because nothing the man does will be good enough for you.

13. Yes, sometimes when children throw irrational tantrums, they spin on their back while screaming |
|
This tends to happen a lot at K-Mart and other Mart-type establishments.
See, when you call anyone who disagrees with you a "hater", you sound like a two-year-old. Just FYI...

I tell you, I need nothing explained to me by your and your ilk. You, the folks who day in and day out ask the same fucking question "what has Obama done" are the ones acting like children stomping their feet because you're not getting your way.
Myself, I'm a grown up who understands grown up things such as the shit hole Obama walked in on won't be fixed any time soon. You on the other hand live in that make believe world where one wave of a magic wand fixes everything.
You call me a child? I'd suggest a long hard look at you and your ilk and the way you're acting towards Obama.

One more and you win the official Glenn Beck Memorial "Trying To Sound Like You're Intelligent and Failing Miserably At It" Award.
Edit: as I hit POST I noticed you snuck another "you and your ilk" in at the end. Congratulations, you're a winner!!! And, for using it twice in the same post, you also win the William Kristol "I Couldn't Write An Original Thought if it Crawled Up My Ass and Died" Trophy. I'm sure YOU AND YOUR ILK will love it.

so now, because you and your ilk have proven time and again that you hate all things Obama, I suddenly become a child.
Perhaps, just perhaps, you should take a long look into a fucking mirror for it's not me sitting here like a spoiled rotten fucking child wanting everything in the damn toy store.
Now, do you get that analogy or do you need me dumb it down a bit for you?

22. No, you didn't suddenly become a child |
|
From the way you wring your panties out, I'm guessing you've been acting like a child for quite some time.
Oh, and since you seem to be new around here, I thought it might help you to know some pathetically tired-ass phrases that most of the adult posters on this board retired years ago:
+ "you and your ilk" + "you should take a long look in the mirror" + blah blah blah ... child wanting toys .. blah blah blah
Just let me know if you'd like some more help at not sounding like a bad DLC phrase generator. I'm here for ya, buddy.

around quite awhile and I'll just say, I haven't seen those terms used much, at least not the children wanting toys.
You and your ilk? Yeah, I use that when it's appropriate and around here, it's quite appropriate.
And please, I need no help from fools such as yourself. And I'm far from your buddy. You see, I deal with rational people, not those who can't get over the fact that Barack Obama won in November 2008. Yes, you and your ilk aren't here for discussion, you're only here to piss all over all things Obama.

10. In every public poll, I give Obama the highest marks. |
|
In private and on DU I strongly disapprove of a number of "Centrist" policies (LABOR/Healthcare/WAR among others).
I am still "waiting to see", but if he signs a Health Care Scam that channels a Trillion Public Dollars to the Health Insurance Industry, I will begin voicing my disapproval in public and in the polls I respond to.
I may be alone, but I don't think so. What I'm saying is that while "The Polls" still show strong approval, it may be softer than it looks, especially if casualties keep mounting in Afghanistan.

|
I'm pretty sure you won't be voting for Huckebee, Mitch Daniels, or whoever they roll out if your hair was on fire. Further, you'll vote for Obama rather than allow Team Sarah to take the reigns because you are way to smart to act like there is little to no difference.

26. Neither you nor the Democratic Party.... |
|
...should take my future votes for granted. THAT has allowed the Party to slide ever rightward for the last 30 years.
Nader didn't cause Gore to lose in 2000. The Democratic Party sliding to the RIGHT,taking The Left "for granted", and creating a vacuum on The Left is what really caused that loss. If not Nader, someone else would have stepped in to fill the void created by the "Centrist" Democratic Party.
After 40 years of straight Party Line voting, my NEXT vote must be earned.
I believe that The Democratic Party seriously underestimates the OUTRAGE if they pass what is currently on the table and call it Health Care Reform.
