The Way Forward

we have the candidate of a lifetime down here with Talarico running against either Paxton or Cornyn. We need ALL dems, indys, and even some republicans if we're going to win this race. If we can turn Texas purple with their help, I am willing to sit at the table with them. I am hopeful, but not convinced, that it can happen.

I think our best bet is to shore up our own party, get people excited, get them out to vote. Register new voters, protect our black and brown voters - we know ICE and Jan 6ers are going to be at the polls if they can.

I dunno, I'm skeptical that folks who were hateful enough to vote for Trump in the first place will be of any help to us now.
