maybe she wouldn't be a Republican, although even that is a stretch.

Marge is a contrarian. She wants t push back against anyone who is in power, and that's what she's doing right now. She doesn't give a flying fornication about the grocery prices in Rome, GA(she dinesat work or on someone else's expense account) and she sure as hell can't do arithmetic.

Marge is all about Marge and the best way to be about Marge is to pretend to push back against power.
