Note there was an AtlasIntel poll released about a week and a half ago that showed Democrats with an 8.6% lead on the generic Congressional ballot for 2026. If that would increase just a little bit over the next 15 months (which is very possible given the economy is currently hanging by a thread and Trump is underwater on every single issue in polling) the new gerrymander in Texas may actually pull additional Republican seats into play for Democrats next year.
