Once upon a time people in the United States Attorney's Office were drinking tap water. One day a staff member suggested that having a water cooler could have several benefits; the water would always be cold, the taste and quality would be consistent, and the nuisance of keeping track of your own water glass would be forever gone. The convenience would cost everyone a pittance, and the policy was adopted.
That must have been at a time when the US Attorney's Office was staffed with professionals more interested in completing the complex tasks associated with their positions, and not partisan politics. Now let's skip ahead to tomorrow's office. Remember to wash your glasses if you cannot bring bottled water in everyday, and be careful until the fluoridation in the tap is removed. Oh, don't forget to bring your own ice either.
