But the more people are forced to use it, the less they seem to trust it. This video looks at the widening gap between AI adoption and public confidence, from Pew’s new polling on American distrust, to Microsoft’s Copilot backlash, Meta’s unwanted AI search, Google’s glue-pizza hallucinations, AI-generated software slop, political spending by AI-linked PACs, and surveillance systems being abused by police.
