The "distraction" is really "effective" as to throw the sick war criminal out of his perceived "throne" ... so effective that he's about to do all he can to steal the midterms with the "help" of his corrupted lackeys anyway, whether there's a "we can't walk and chew gum at the same time" other distraction or many others coming our way or not.

Nothing "works" as long as the republicrooks in congress and inside his maladministration keeps him there all the while he keeps on bankrupting everything he touches like he always did and makes a killing financially out of his lifelong immunity from any consequence for his never-ending cruelty.
