He has rock-solid integrity of character. And he has a sense of humor. All of these qualities (the ones you mentioned plus these two) I consider essential qualities in a successful presidency, especially given what the next president will face after 4 years of the Thug-Traitor-Vandal-in-Chief.
Unlike MF45, Pete really is a stable genius.
And, as a bonus (one possibly crucial to winning the general election), he has a genuine connection to the midwest.
Finally, there's this indefinable thing, too: when I watched him during the debates, I kept thinking to myself, "I'm watching a president."
As worthy as many of the other candidates are for a variety of reasons , I simply do not have that feeling about any of the other candidates.
Pete just has the right stuff.
