It is not a daunting figure for his rivals. In June 2016
Jen Bush has raised 162 million dollars
Ted Cruz 158 million
Marco Rubio 125 million
Ben Carson 76 million
Cheeto 67 million and he had won the nomination.

In politics votes matter more than money. My point is not to say this is bad for Sanders. Any candidate would rather have more money than their rivals at the start of the campaign but there is hyperbole in this article.

BTW isn’t it shocking to see that Carson had out raised Cheeto in June 2016. I did not know that.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
