Democratic Primaries

During the WWII alliance with the Soviet Union, 'Uncle Joe' gained some currency as a reference to Stalin, and I feel quite certain he has no idea what a person of impish humor might make of that.

I recently ran upon a fellow here who seemed to have no idea who Mr. Norman Thomas was, or to know anything about the standing of the Socialist Party he led nationally during and before the Roosevelt era.
