Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: Senator Sanders, telling us what we "need to do" from Vermont, not from Washington! [View all]For reasons I won't go into in this post I'm not as big a fan of Thomas Jefferson as many/most other Americans are but he did hit the nail on the head on this occasion...
Once, when scolded by an unhappy supporter for not reshaping the country fast enough, Thomas Jefferson offered a well-reasoned rejoinder. "When we reflect how difficult it is to move or to infect the great machine of society," he wrote, "we see the wisdom of Solon's remark that no more good must be attempted than the nation can bear."
While many of Bernie's policies are quite admirable and desirable goals to strive toward I also believe that some of them are more "than the nation can bear" at this time.

primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

That remains to be seen...if he helps reelect Trump by staying in a race he has clearly lost...

Both Bernie and Biden need to join together calling for Senator Warren to be put in charge ASAP!
