1) The fact that student loans can't currently be discharged in bankruptcy means that anyone can get a student loan. The unintended consequence of making student loans subject to bankruptcy rules means that lenders are going to start to apply normal lending rules - which means no loans for students who don't have parents or other co-signers with assets.

2) Joe Biden has had a resurgence by not alarming or annoying the centrists and moderates, not by appealing to the extreme left. He needs to understand that and continue to distance himself from the proposals of Warren and Sanders, not to embrace them.
