A devout man died and went to heaven. St. Peter opened the gate and showed him in and told him to look around and get acquainted with the place and get to know some of the other souls who were there.

The man looked around and noticed that instead of white robes and angel wings like everyone else had, one person was wearing a full Delta captain uniform complete with hat.

“This is all very nice, and it is just what I expected”’ said the man. “Except I’m curious about that fellow who is dressed up like a Delta pilot. What’s going on with him?”

“Oh, him?”, said St. Peter, “That’s God. He only thinks he’s a Delta captain.”
