1. climate change is something middle class folk can afford to be interested in and while it hits all of us, people who can afford to protest will protest,
2. and police terror hits mostly minority communities and they protest because it is a life and death matter?

I had not thought about this divide. Thank you for the post. I went to a climate march in San Diego a year ago and noticed the mostly white faces but did not take that idea further to the other protests even tho TV made it very clear in coverage on Ferguson and Baltimore, etc.
