3. I have no trouble disliking many Republicans, especially the Republican candidates.

But it is unreasonable to demonize all Republicans since, as O'Malley says, we relate to and rely on many of them every day. Many of them are friends, relatives, and neighbors. We may avoid talking politics with them, but why should we hate them? In my opinion, there is too much hate, too much anger, too much vitriol. It has to stop somewhere.
