3. He got the biggest applause for saying he signed an assault weapons ban.

Huge standing ovation. I also saw lots of Bernie and Hillary supporters nodding and commenting to each other when he talked about action not words. That made an impression.

I like the new part of stump speech where he says "Progress is a choice". That got a big response.

His volunteers were on point.

They were the last ones at the event. O'Malley closed event down and his supporters were only ones sitting outside signing people up outside after event. I think his team is simply going to outwork everyone.

Sanders is doing big events in Iowa and Hillary is still doing pre-screened events or larger events. O'Malley is doing the smaller events letting people ask as many questions as needed. That matters in Iowa.
