own interests.

That is why the Bush gang chose 'Patriotic, jingoistic terminology for their 'National Security Policies', eg, 'Homeland Security' and 'The Patriot Act'. And their never-ending use of words like 'Freedom' and 'Liberty' plus the deification of all things Military.

Add that to the FEAR that was deliberately implanted in the population, 'they're coming for our Freedoms' after 9/11 and the collaboration of the 'news' media and the rest was easy.

Critical thinkers of course saw that it was not the 'terrorists' who were taking away our 'freedoms'.

But how many of them were allowed to speak without, the other tool of those who want to control the population, 'smear campaigns' bought and paid for, being launched against them?

See Dennis Kucinich eg.

Two decades of Fox War Propaganda and fear mongering has produced a cult-like audience whose minds have been so hi-jacked, attempting to talk to them rationally, is like trying to reach the minds of people in some of the most controlling cults.

How to change that is to have a free and open press.

But how to do it, is another matter. The press in this country is among the most controlled in the civilized world now.
