What could work for Bernie would be for him to activate [View all]

the model of the Wise/Mystical Mentor,Guide & Elder Hero: Moses, Gandalf, Obi-wan Kenobi, whatsisname in Harry Potter, etc., to build an emotional association between him & that archetypal figure. I'm no Ed Bernays, so I'll leave to the troops the twin tasks of deciding whether this kind of thinking has any merit, and how the association can be planted in the public mind through the social media.
