I had my doubts about Liam Neeson in a comedy, but like Leslie Nielsen before him, he plays it 100% straight, which makes the situations all the funnier. There are plenty of puns and gags, and while not all of them land, many of them do, especially an inspired sequence about a homicidal snowman It isn't quite as good as the original film, but it's better than the first and second sequels to be sure.
