I thought it was a woman all the way up until I saw the male reference. From what I've gathered it is very difficult for boys to know it is not their fault because of the signs of arousal that as a female are not physically obvious. If you get my drift. It helps to have someone who understands, listens, and can help you talk it out.

There was a dust up recently where someone had mocked a rape survivor here after she had shared her story. The person was banned. I just don't think anyone needs insult added to the injury.

I've never really talked about it outside of counseling except for my parents and a couple of friends none of my other family or friends know. It was decades ago. I still don't like to even bring it up.

I really admire the brave souls who can and do speak out.
