'correlation does not mean causation' even though they've been correlating gun sales with a decrease in violent crime for years.

Oh, and there is no such thing as an assault rifle. It's a made up term used by gun grabbers only. Except for the Armalite company that marketed the AR15 to the Navy for on board security as an ASSAULT RIFLE way back in the late '60s.

What the hell, call it Tactical and make it in camo and they'll buy it.
