I know it was a tough year, but really? 0% 0 FRIGGIN percent in 2009? The talk about privatizing social security is out of hand. The other poster pointed out the increases in the 1970s and 1980s. What happened to that? A percentage is a percentage. It should not change. I am also tired of people discussing SS like it's a pyramid scheme. Good god...do they know what a pyramid scheme is? It's transferring money from one person to another without a good product or service being exchanged. It eventually falls apart because of this. That is theft and it is now more rampant because of the internet. Where the fuck is that lock box that used to be discussed? STOP TALK ABOUT PRIVATIZING. Lock this up, gets your hands off people's money, and provide the proper COLAs already.
