17. Just as with the OP, it doesn't hang but simply immediately goes to the home page and one's post is lost

No way to back arrow and get it back. Because it is not "hanging," I do not think it is a network problem, but a DU issue. But I will try the Ghostext extension as that might make it less frustrating.
