What I meant was: Aren't the posts leading up to the questionable one not fully quoted, i.e., often just the title and not the body of the post? Definitely not always. I sometimes feel like I don't have much context. You probably have the ability to look at the last time I was on jury duty to see an example. It felt like I might have judged differently if I knew more about the context. I haven't looked at the actual thread.

I can see why it may be done that way on purpose, so as not to get in the weeds of a conversation. It's just a feeling I often have.
