This is a great article. It nails down those illusive "Commons" that the old timers mention all the time and the reasons they should never have been (or should not be) privatized (or capitalized) upon.
Amy Goodman (DemocracyNow.org) had Vandana Sheeva on last week and she said to date there have been 270,000 farmers who have committed suicide because of the dilemma that Monsanto put them in (Monsanto patented cotton seed).
